Easy Cheesy Chicken Parm

  • 6 chicken breasts (or 3 large sliced into 6 thinner pieces)
  • 1 box of extra crispy shake and bake (you should only have to use 1 of the 2 bags that comes in the box)
  • 1/2 cup of Parm Cheese, divided
  • 2 tblsp italian seasoning
  • 1 jar of spagetti sauce (our family likes ragu robusto sweet italian sausage and cheese)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • pasta of your choice
  1. line a 13×9 pan with foil (optional for easier clean up) spread the bottom of the dish with about 1/2 of the jar of sauce
  2. In a gallon size zip lock  bag empty the contents of 1 shake and bake bag, 1/4 cup parm cheese, and italian seasoning, shake together to mix
  3. One by one, toss the chicken pieces to coat and lay into the pan
  4. bake for 30 minutes at 400 or until chicken is cooked through
  5. pour the rest of the sauce on top of the chicken breasts and cover with remaining parm cheese and  shredded cheese
  6. Bake until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly
  7. prepare pasta of choice and serve chicken over the pasta, or this is also great served with green beans.
