Chocolate Scotcheroos

Standard
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  1. combine corn syrup & sugar in a saucepan cook over medium heat stirring frequently until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil.
  2. remove from heat, add peanut butter, mix well
  3. add cereal and stir until well coated
  4. press mixture into 13X9 coated with cooking spray
  5. melt chocolate and butterscotch chips over low heat stirring constantly
  6. pour over bars
  7. store in airtight container
